Nothing is collected.

The app

• Doorplate has no networking code. It does not check for updates, send analytics, create accounts or contact any server.
• Your desktop names, icons, colors, shortcuts, tracked time and settings are stored in your macOS preferences on your Mac, under app.doorplate.Doorplate. Pictures you use as icons are copied to ~/Library/Application Support/Doorplate.
• The Accessibility permission is used to read the Dock’s Mission Control labels and to synthesize the “Switch to Desktop N” keypress. Nothing is recorded.
• A local log of desktop switches is kept in ~/Library/Logs/Doorplate, trimmed to a few kilobytes, for troubleshooting. It never leaves your Mac.

This website

• No analytics, no cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party scripts or fonts. Everything is served from https://doorplate.app.
• The host keeps ordinary server logs (address, page, time) for as long as it keeps them; nothing is added to that.
