The trial

• Doorplate runs free for 14 days on each Mac, with everything unlocked and no account or card. When the trial ends the app stops until a license key is entered. Your names and settings stay on your Mac either way.

The license

• A license is a one-time purchase of $7.99. It covers every Mac you personally own and use. Sharing a key with other people, or selling it on, ends the license.
• Keys are activated per Mac through the shop. Removing the key in Settings › License frees that activation. If you hit the activation limit after replacing Macs, write to [email protected] and it is reset.
• Every 1.x update is included. A future major version may be a separate purchase, with a discount for existing keys.
• Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy as the merchant of record. They process payment and tax and email the key; their own terms apply to the checkout.

Refunds

• Not happy? Email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase with the order email and the purchase is refunded in full, no questions.

What the app promises

• Doorplate is provided as is. It is tested on the macOS versions listed on the download page and fixed promptly when Apple changes something, but there is no guarantee it works with every future version of macOS or with every other app.
• It never modifies system files and never sends your data anywhere. The details are in the privacy policy.
• Liability for any loss arising from using the app is limited to the amount you paid for it.
